Ferreira Cafe opens business in 1996 on Peel Street and quickly becomes Montreal’s beacon for Portuguese gastronomy. It is a popular spot for the business crowd as well as public figures and through the years the cafe has enjoyed a solid reputation. Eight years later, the Vasco da Gama opens a few doors down from the famous restaurant to serve high-end sandwiches to a hurried gourmet crowd as well as offering a catering service. Summer of 2010, the latest project for the group came to be. The F Bar is launched and offers an innovative culinary experience based on fresh market produce all in a setting where pleasure and gastronomy go hand in hand.
